David B. Mitchell, Esq., for over twenty years holds the highest ratings bestowed by the Martindale-Hubbell and Avvo attorney rating services, and is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. He is a member of the Florida Bar Family Law Section and the Dade County (FL) Bar Association, where he served on the Family Court and as vice-chair of the County Courts Committees. He previously served as president of the Coral Gables Bar Association, where he was also the editor-in-chief of the Gables Lawyer, and is a recipient of the President’s Award. David B. Mitchell has been listed in every edition of Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who in America since 1999. Currently, he is listed as a “Top Lawyer in South Florida” appearing in the National Law Journal, the Daily Business Review and other publications. On family law topics, he co-authored Inside the Minds: Family Law Strategies in Florida (2012), published by Thomson Reuters. He has also been published nationally on topics of American history focusing on the Revolutionary period. Mr. Mitchell returned to academia in 2011 and holds an advanced undergraduate diploma with honors in English history from the University of Oxford in England.
